No doubt about the fact that driving the Eagle Speedster on wet Sussex roads was quite a moment in my career. The weather anything but perfect, but – oh my… – the rest!
The way Eagle treats the Jaguar E-Type legacy with respect, perfection and creativity is absolutely breathtaking. The result of their approach is a vehicle that feels like a true classic – with incredible looks and more than up-to-date performance (4.7 liter aluminium straight-six meets less than a ton). On top of that, it remains the soul of a pure sports car, with barking exhaust noises and a promise of real excitement on the road ahead. What more can you possibly want from an enthusiast´s car?
To me, Eagle´s Speedster is the ultimate classic, and one of the most desirable cars I have ever driven.
