“A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade, to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless. In a world of criminals who operate above the law…”
You cannot put more 1980s pathos into the bottom line of Knight Rider. The series, starring young David Hasselhoff, was a worldwide hit, and also grew my personal interest in cars and movies. So it´s no surprise that shooting a very fine replica of what we know as the “Knight Industries Two-Thousand” (K.I.T.T.) was a very fun job, trying to resurrect the naive setting of urban L.A. in Berlin´s Westhafen.
It almost felt like Michael was waiting around the corner, with K.I.T.T. and Turbo Boost ready for rescue.
Big thanks to owner Martin and his car!
