“The sun is already low as we get on our bikes while their engines roar beneath us. The track in front of us winds through dense forest, over shallow meadows and past thick undergrowth. It’s a call for a little adventure in the wild, untamed landscape. I twist the throttle and feel the tires dig into the loose dirt as my bike shoots forward. My buddy Arthur just behind me. Same bike, same spirit.
Every bump and dip rattles our chassis, but the DR350s handle everything effortlessly as Suzuki´s suspension was very modern back in the days, absorbing the rough terrain with ease. The bike is now 30 years old, but it´s still more capable off-road than the two of us. Gravel sprays off our tires, the scent of earth and pine trees fills the cool, late summer breeze. Out here, riding off-road, it’s just us, the bikes and the open road. Feels like paradise.”
