Honestly, if you’ve never traveled through Southern France on a motorbike, then you’re really missing out. It’s not so much the famous Croisette in Nice or Cannes that fascinates. In fact, it’s the back country that enchants you with incredibly good roads, impressive nature, great culture and fabulous food. There are few places that attract me more than the region between the Maritime Alps and Marseille.

Together with my friend Axel – the founder of Kaffeemaschine, without doubt the best Guzzi custom label in the world – we took his touring-orientated „GT 1000“ and my vintage 1972 „V7 Special“ out for a long ride. Over the course of a week, we cruised from oh-so-glittery St. Tropez through the Luberon, right into the Ardéche.
