From a distance, she´s got everything you need to make a bold statement. Raked front fork, wide five inch tire, psychodelic paint, sissy bar, chrome. Plus a real attitude. But Fantic´s marvelous Chopper lacks one thing to be a real 1970s outlaw: Size. Which makes the use of this 50 cc-moped (!) a challenge.
In fact, the biggest hurdle is not the high-revving two-stroke engine, coming straight from a demanding motocross competition bike. It´s your ego. You better leave it at home, riding the Fantic with a good dose of unseriousness. There´s no doubt – this is the only way to get along with the Chopper.
